Mike Rowe gets mistaken for Hugh Laurie: “About two months ago, I was on a plane and I hadn’t shaved for about two weeks. I hurt my leg on a shoot, so I’m kinda limping on the plane. A woman comes up to me and says, ‘I just have to tell you that I’ve never missed an episode of your show and you’re one of my absolute favorites,’ and I said, ‘Well, you’re very sweet,’ and she said, ‘Who’s the doctor? Your best friend? You know, the one! The oncologist!’ The woman thinks I’m House. She thinks I’m Hugh Laurie. She asked if I’d sign her things, so I signed Hugh Laurie’s name. I can only hope to God that someday, somewhere, somebody comes up to Hugh Laurie and ask him how the sewers doing.”
